I am guessing your son's wife is not from the south of Spain. I lived in the south and the seasons were not like the north of spain or elsewhere in europe lol.
Oh yes I agree about the shades of different colours. Nature has us looking at so many different shades of green, even on the same plant there are many different shades of green!

        She now lives in southern Spain but has studied and worked in other European countries where the seasons are more marked.
        Now with the arrival of the rains the greens have become very intense, it is a beautiful time to look at the trees.
