It's nice to get a little insight into what has helped to make you into the person you are today. I fully expected to hear you emerged from the womb large and in charge. To know you had a bit of teen angst brings you back down to the level of human lol...not that you were ever inhuman, but maybe a little less god-like. It's very endearing :)
Haha, large and in charge, I like that phrase.
In truth, when I came out the doctor gave me a smack to get me started...but don't worry, I'm looking for him and will issue some retribution when I find him.
I've faced a lot of adversity in my life and from a young age (I have a post for this same community about one such thing coming up), and at the time it sucked but now I look back and know it didn't break me and that I am better for it, know what I can endure and all. Sure, I can be somewhat hard because of it but generally it's taught me what to do and when, and what not to do and when which are valuable lessons.
And don't worry, when I catch up with that doctor, (it's likely he's in his 90's) my retribution will be uncompromising. I'll do a post.
Life lessons come often though more so in our younger days. I think some folks always look back on those lessons with misplaced anger and wind up not benefiting from the wisdom contained within. I guess that last sentence could be taken as a life lesson itself lol.
And don't worry, when I catch up with that doctor, (it's likely he's in his 90's) my retribution will be uncompromising. I'll do a post.
I'm sure you'll give him a sound thrashing suitable for a 90 year old doctor. I'll look for the post.
People that don't pick up on the lessons learned through experiences in life tend not to progress, in my opinion.
