Hi guys, I hope we're doing great. As usual, this week's prompt is very interesting to me. Probably because I'm an expectant mother. I'm really looking forward to carrying my own children that will have the same physical traits as me, and at the same time, carry my own kind of genotype.
Sincerely, I do debate the kinds of traits my children will carry with my husband, and we mostly agree on my kind of traits and my genotype. Yes, I'm an AA carrier and I love all my children's genotypes to be AA. Though my husband's own is AS, we both prefer AA, because it will allow them to marry whoever they love in future. Thanks to my genotype, I almost encountered a problem when I wanted to marry. I didn't do my genotype test on time, because my husband told me his genotype was AA already. So, I was rest assured and didn't see any reason to bother.
So, when the marriage committee in church asked us to provide our genotype test result, my husband started fidgeting. He became so worried and refused to go for the test with me. I didn't know there was fire on the mountain until I discovered my husband was AS, but he was so much in love with me and so scared to lose what we shared. So, he told me otherwise that he was AA, since it's a person with an AA genotype that can marry anyone. Tears rolled down my cheeks, I couldn't utter a word to him. It was already a few weeks to our wedding, I almost fainted. I couldn't control myself, so I rushed for my own test, because I had a the premonition that I was "AS". Fortunately, we realized I was AA. I screamed, "Faithful God" . Thanks to my genotype. There wouldn't have been any marriage if I weren't with the "AA" genotype that saved us, irrespective of the love we shared. Also, I have seen lovers painfully loosing their bond all because of incompatible genotypes. Thus, I want my children to take my genotype.
Also, I love my children to take my height. I'm averagely tall. I would like my children to take that. It enables them to attract or suit any kind of height their spouses are. A person of average height is not too tall, he or she can have a tall or short spouse. My husband is very tall but we still look compatible because I'm still of average height.
Skin colour is another trait. Oh! I love my skin colour. People call me "brown skin girl" . I'm not dark, neither am I white nor yellow. I'm a blend of all colors, and this saves me a lot of stress. I never worried about any routine for my skin care. In fact, anything goes. It's not until I get expensive cream. I do less to glow, and I also want this for my children. I easily maintained skin colour like mine for them. I also love my children to have black hair colors like mine. I know how people try to darken their hair colour. The most painful part is that such artificial darkening doesn't last, after the chemical has been applied, it only stayed few months. Black hair will save them from unnecessary stress.
I also want my children to be compassionate, friendly and intelligent. Nothing beats compassionate children. My mother and my husband always attest to this in me. I'm just that loving. Above all I want children that are strong and firm, irrespective of what life throws. These are the trait, I will like them to take from me.
