Lying about our genotype because we are in love is not an excuse, what if you did not get yours done and then you both end up together? Then innocent children will have to suffer sickle cell for the rest of their lives.

        Thank God it didn't happen.
        There was no way I wouldn't eventually do the test before marriage before.
