OMG, I believe that servants should be protected by labor laws and have fair contracts for their jobs. There should also be punishment for employers who violate these labor agreements.

You're right. But where is the law? Who will institute and carry it out? There is no fair treatment and protection. Many parents have vowed not to give out their children to another person to serve as househelp or whatever because of maltreatment other children have received and are receiving from their so-called masters.
