I've always thought about this, cause I say I have heart burn but the reflux is in the stomach, is that right?

        The reflux is that food in your stomach that has mixed with acid begins to go back up to your throat .

        The throat is not designed to handle the acid, so it causes a burning feeling...described as heart burn.
