I really like Lupine flowers like in your first picture, but they are a pest here!

I don't know what the best gift I have got or given is, but I think you are very correct about the consideration. I appreciate it when thought goes into the gift, even if it isn't perfect. I also don't like giving gifts "because I have to" and then have to find something random. I always want it to have some kind of meaningfulness for the person.
