So far, I really like the common and rare reward cards. They're very helpful, without being overpowered, and have great perks when leveled up. I don't really see that in the Epic and Legendary ones, so I spent my glint on commen and rare.
Soon after, I got my first chance to try them in a high mana novice league tournament. And they gave me a win against two cards that I always struggle to win against - Lorkus and Mantaroth, and now in combination!

As you can see, the rulset also included "Equal Opportunity" - hence my Thanalorian Scion, who will attract all the attacks at least for one round - thanks to Shield from my summoner.
I used the new Commander Slade as second in the row, since he has evade and enfeeble - very useful in a game that I had thought to be melee heavy, since neither dragon nor nature with their high-mana magic cards where available.
Third position is the Giant Alpine Skink, a great high mana water monster with shield.
Venka shouldn't miss out any Equal Opportunity game, so there he is. Plus Captain Fellblade for Sneak and Speed.
The enemy has a very strong line-up. +1 melee and +1 magic for all the monsters, plus life leech for the Mantaroth and Venka, both excellent choices for that ability. Baron Fyatt to cut my attacks, and I guess the Oger is a bait so I don't kill Venka in the first round, before he can Life Leech.
So, in the first round I take down their Ogre, as expected, and even get a good bash on Venka, making him prime target for the second round. The Thanalorian takes care of Mantaroths Armor, which is great since he has Armor Strike - one way less for him to leech life and beat up my monsters. But as Venka, the Thanalorian is bound to go down in round 2.
In Round 2, Slade takes care of Venka before he can attack, and Fellblade and my Venka kill the Baron before he can act again. Pallus and Mantaroth take out the Thanalorian, but the playing field is very levelled now.
Pallus actually evaded to attacks before the Skink kills him, leaving him time to kill Venka - which isn't too bad, since that way, Mantaroth doesn't get any life leach from destroying the Skinks armor.
Thanks to the shield, the Skink only takes two damage, which means that Mantaroth only gets 1 life - which leaves my team time to kill the Fighter in Round 6, while Fellblade does some Magic damage to Mantaroth.
Even though he takes a good bite out of the Overseer, it's not enough to go against the rest of my crew, especially since Slade as Enfeeble and Dodge. He finally goes down in Round 7.
I hope you enjoyed this content, as always I'm happy for remarks and ideas on how else to use these great new cards - and do you have a favorite yet? Slade is pretty awesome, but there are many other great ones I can't wait to use.
Kudos to the team for making this set so much more balanced than the last Soulbounds! It's a great addition to gameplay, without tipping the balance.
