RE: Corpse Flower from Indonesia

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY8 months ago

I've always wanted to see Rafflesia in person (despite the discouraging smell). It reminds me of the Pokemon "Vileplume". hahah

I didn't know it's also called a corpse flower... but it does make sense. The corpse flower I know is the titan arum... I read an article about it when one of them bloomed in a botanical garden in Australia recently. I think it's also common in Indonesia, right?

yeah similar. but Rafflesia more stinks as far as i know.
But, yeah i never seen from close spot. But mostly like succulent plants, many of them flowers are really stinks. I have Obregonia Denegrii too, one of succulent that blooming twice on a year, the flower is really stinks. it is like a day of puke

There sure are a lot of stinky but unique plants there... It would be an unforgettable experience! :) Thanks for sharing! ^^
