Hi, friend, I find all photographs related to railroad tracks very interesting—at least in my opinion. There’s a similar railroad track near my house, and sometimes it feels to me like a kind of altar, because—whether out of folk tradition or religious syncretism—people walk by and cross themselves, that is, they perform this ritual of resignation and perhaps ask God to spare them from being hit by a train or something like that.
