Dad left a spy on me

Hello everyone!!!!

I hope so you all are fine and happy 😀

Some of us are parents now but some are adults but we all remember our childhood how our parents treated with us in the childhood, at least i remember some major things. Some parents are very conscious about their children's while some are just give them freedom to live the childhoods phase.

Privacy in childhood!!!

I'm living in Pakistan and there's nothing else like privacy lol just like the word can't exist. You don't have enough privacy to do your thing's especially if you're living in joint family , In joint family system not only your parents but also your relatives can interrupt your privacy too.

Well, I'm not living in joint family system but I've parents too who keep an eye on me. Mostly mother's keep an eye on child but believe me as a child i don't know really that dad also keep an eye on me and it makes me laugh when i knew it. I think it's okay to that he concerned about me because he's a dad and know much better.

She spied on me!!!

I'm the eldest daughter of my dad and you know mobile phone is becoming important thing to study, my dad also brought a phone to me just to help me in study but he knows that we can do many things on mobile phones. At that time Facebook was the common social media app and students waste their time on Facebook and my dad strictly said to me that i shouldn't waste my time on Facebook and focus on studies..... Being a child or you can say i was teenager i said ok I'll not waste my time on Facebook.

But later after a month, my youngest sister told me that you know dad asked me to check if I'm using Facebook alot or not 🤣 i don't know why she told me this secret but my younger sister told me dad said me to do that and she simply asked do you use Facebook a lot and I was shoked at that time but later i laughed that no i don't use as you can check my mobile too.

I know we sister's are crime partners lol..... We refer to say crime partner to those who help us in those things which aren't allowed to do or those things which do secretly that no one knows about it.

Do kids really needs privacy!!!

I think as a parents it's their responsibility to have an eye on kid and check them too but some parents do this in worst way. I'll not say that my parents were strict in privacy as they only want that i don't waste my time and focus on study. They're parents and they do best for us. You know it's the era of internet and it's hard to raise children's like our ancestors did it in easy way because they live simple life.

Being a kid we don't know what's the best for us but being a parent we know what's better for kids and we can keep an eye on them in different ways that they don't feel it.

That's all for today and it's my entry in this week hive learner contest in #hl-exclusive for the topic #hl-w185e2.

Thank you for your time and support 🙏

It's very important as a parent to keep an eyes on our children but not in a worst way like you said.

Wow I didn't know that was the parenting style in Pakistan, so privacy feels like a fairytale around that part of the world?? Hmm.
Well I believe every child deserves some level of privacy which should still be kept in check by close adult supervision as kids especially teenagers tend to abuse this kind of privileges. The best thing to do is tell them that their privacy is an important part of them that should not be taken for granted and if it is, there are punishments for deviancy.
Thank you

I am just thinking why opposite thing happened with me. Everyone's parents tried to restrict using Facebook but in my case my father said me to open Facebook and Whatsapp when I was in class 6/7. I created a Facebook account after 1 year he said about it many times. Was it my father trusted me too much even if he didn't know too much about tech. I don't know. Maybe they trusted me too much and I didn't take advantage of it.
