Let us learn about Omani names. If you noticed an Arabic person's name, you saw that it was something like Mohammad Bin Salman (Saudi Prince!); Mohammad, son of Salman! In Oman, they just drop the "Bin" part and call him directly Mohammad Salman. Meaning the same, Mohammad is the son and Salman is his father!
Here, they love to repeat the same name in the household in every alternate generation, not in every house but in many! Recently, I found an interesting name. Let's take the example of Mohammad Salman. That patient's full name was Mohammad Salman Mohammad Salman.
Mohammad (1st): The patient
Salman (1st): His father
Mohammad (2nd): His grandfather
Salman (2nd): His great-grandfather
Interesting, isn't it?
On Tuesday, I consulted 50 patients in my chamber. Hence, it was quite a busy time at work, in both shifts! Interestingly, in the morning shift, I consulted 25 patients, and the same number of patients in my evening shift! During the evening shift, one adult patient came with a history of a scorpion bite. He got stung around 4-5 hours earlier, and his pain had already subsided. Just assurance was done!
A few hours later, his 10-year-old son came with a scorpion bite!! He was in pain. Usually, we give an injection for pain. He refused to take it out of fear of needles (he was in more pain due to the scorpion bite). I gave him a painkiller tablet. One hour later, he again came. The pain didn't reduce with the tablet and came for an injection!! Poor boy!
I couldn't walk on the treadmill on Tuesday. After 9 pm, we went to two shopping centers to purchase some winter clothes. For all the casual walking, I was able to make over 10,837 steps on the day!
Thanking you
Hafiz
