Hope that the #Ecency dev team relaunches their v3 (legacy) frontend (which used to be at https://v3.ecency.com/) again! πŸ€—πŸ˜

I wonder what you can tell about the new #Ecency wallet update (especially when the page is viewed on a desktop web browser). πŸ€”πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Me too, I miss it a lot.

Well, the first thing that I noticed was the offer to connect off-chain crypto wallets, and the second thing was that they hid Hive Engine. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

The simplicity of the #Ecency legacy frontend version is missed !INDEED! πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜πŸ€―

#Ecency users of the main (or alpha) frontend can show their favorite #HiveEngine tokens on the wallet page of any of their Hive accounts. πŸ€“πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜

Indeed, and the fact that it worked more smoothly and reliably.

Yes, I saw that, but there's no wallet view, so not so useful for me personally. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I think that even if the legacy version of the #Ecency frontend has fewer new features and need less maintenance, it still requires time and effort for the Ecency devs to keep up. 🀯 Perhaps the devs decided to focus on the main and alpha versions, so they decided to take down the legacy one (at least for now). πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

I assume that they think that a person on Hive can simply go to dedicated Hive Engine apps (like #HiveEngine, #TribalDex, or #BeeSwap) to view and manage Hive Engine assets. πŸ˜…

Yes, I'm figuring that such is the case.

I guess so, but for me, that gives me even less motivation to do any token transaction on Ecency. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™

Perhaps the #Ecency team wants their platform to be focused on blogging (and microblogging on #Waves) and engagement, !INSTEAD of token management. πŸ€” They can feature other #HiveEngine frontends right on their wallet page if they want. 😏

It's a curious decision, and I guess so. PeakD allows for more functionality. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Let's !HOPE that the #Ecency dev team makes the wallet page display #HiveEngine tokens similar (but not too similar) to how PeakD does it, though I would still highly prefer to use the Hive Engine, #TribalDex, or #BeeSwap platform to view and manage Hive Engine tokens !INDEED. πŸ˜…
