One thing that we can easily notice is that during the time of our parents and grandparents, the society was heavily communitarian. In other words, people lived as a community; children played together, and the neighbours regarded themselves as close friends and families. Thus, when we hear such beautiful stories, we wonder why this cannot be replicated in our present society. The truth is that the love and unity which was enjoyed in past days, is more and more being replaced by selfishness, enmity and individualism. I hope this will change for the better, some day.
