Intro
Welcome in this post I hope to get a discussion going about what hive needs and how we can get there.
Now I don't know about you but I can honestly say I am honored to be part of this amazing chain it is far form perfect but with a fair bit of confidence I can say this is currently the most revolutionary blockchain.
What is missing?
Now I know this is blockchain and supposed to be decentralized, but folks got to realize this is still one hive we must try to work together as much as possible to have maximum impact.
I am going to look into becoming a witness on this chain and really push for more change, I think the witnesses need to have some sort of public meeting not necessarily live but every active witness should participate, this way the chain can be maintained better and we can all stay focused on the goal of mass adoption, we can keep building but if we don't bring more folks on it will not nearly be as fruitful.
An important part of that is transparency these meetings should be public!
I think this will foster better cohesion between witnesses, frontends and users.
Another important element that is missing is a simple onboarding experience, this is all fairly complicated stuff and can be overwhelming to a new users.
Also I think we need to set up some more actual rules instead of this unsaid nonsense, and then penalize folks for not knowing any better, seem fairly off to me.
Closing thoughts
These are trialing times with things like AI and much more on the rise many platforms will be challenged, are we getting ready or will we crash and burn and end up being a failed experiment, the choice is up to us.....
