Coffee consumption.

Every day when I wake up, it's the first thing that comes to mind. Thinking about a cup of coffee is inevitable, and I accompany a good coffee with a cigarette.

This has been my routine for the last few years, and today I started thinking that it has been unnecessary and highly harmful to my health, but it is undeniable that, like any good Venezuelan, we drink our cup of coffee in the morning.

There are thousands of people in the world who recommend drinking coffee without sugar, and I recognize that there are thousands more who don't drink coffee, but there are millions like me who drink coffee several times a day.

Today, while drinking this cup of coffee, I took some photos and decided to edit one of them with the logo of our guest author project to share with you.

Coffee is not just a morning vice; it is a super ally for our health as it is rich in antioxidants such as chlorogenic acids and polyphenols, which act against free radicals, enemies that damage our cells and accelerate aging. So drinking coffee in moderation helps us reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, protects the heart, and improves nervous system function. It is worth It's worth researching this and discovering that these antioxidants slow down cell deterioration and contribute to a longer, healthier, and more active life. So we know that coffee is more than just energy.

Speaking from experience, the cigarettes are almost a must when you drink your coffee, but if you can, I recommend to quit the cigarettes. If you succeed, you will feel way, way better. At least I did when I quit 😆

Fully stopped coffee (and cafeine) 12 days ago, to max the effect on race day.

If you can moderate - sure coffee has some heath benefits. If you drink too much you get too much cortisol (stress hormone) and it is also bad for your heart.

Since stopping, I am considering only using it on race days (as I cannot do moderation). My HRV increased from 48 to 70 in less than 2 weeks, sleep quality greatly improved. So yeah big productivity booster, but sadly not only positives
