A Worthy Christmas Gift

Last night, I received a notification that I have a HIVE transfer. Shortly after, I checked my wallet and found out that HIVE was sent to me. I was in shock to see how much money was sent, and I must say that I did not quite expect such a huge gift from the person that sent it.
This came at a time when my Christmas plan has already shattered, as things had not gone as I had planned initially, and I had already adjusted to accepting whatever responses I would get from my family members, as I knew that they had an expectation that I could still turn things around like a miracle worker when I felt hopeless. However, the Duo team came to my rescue as the miracle worker who turned my water into wine.
Being part of this community has been a great experience for me. It has been a journey of learning and building friendship. However, this gesture shows me that some people still have good hearts.
What I appreciate most about this gift is the motive behind it. It clearly depicts that there are people who cares about others and realize that sometimes all one needs is a helping hand in order to make a huge difference in their life.
With this gift, I am now able to affordably purchase a live chicken to prepare for the Christmas feast and other needs that make the holiday special for my family. This alone takes a lot of weight off my shoulders and relieves me.
I appreciate the Duo team for giving me the opportunity to be a guest author on this platform, because I believe this Christmas gift came from within the Duo community members. I am very thankful for the this, and it will be a memory I will cherish for a long time to come.
