Pulling Through Tough Times

An image generated with AI

We’ve got here before when we don’t have the energy to put out what we have to put out. From walking to the gym to putting out that paper or blog post, to doing the dishes, we all at some point just want to throw in the towel and call it a day.

What if instead of giving in to those moments we pushed through and got the job done, even when we didn’t feel like it?

There is value in not giving in which at times may not feel like it. We grow out of those hard moments which in turn makes us stronger. So the next time you think you can’t do it, think of what you will achieve by pushing through and seeing it to the end.

As you push through to finish, you feel the mental and physical health benefits.

As a human species we do not do well when we are put out that we can’t achieve what we set out to do. We live in a world which sets time frames for us. In a world that puts us under the gun to perform on demand we often feel overcome and unable to check anything off the list.

But we won’t give up. We have to push through those times and we had better train ourselves to do it.

According to psychologytoday.com which reports that you should set out time for your work and also anything else. When you’re tired, you feel stressed and out of it which in turn makes you not want to do anything. By putting aside time for other things you in turn free up what you have for the important stuff like work and school and also reduce the stress of getting it all done.

As we have free time we also help out others. Throughout‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the day, our feeling gets better as we are finishing what we started.

Even if our feeling is not that great we still have to push through and do what is required of us, which happens to be the right thing.

Initially, we are the only ones who benefit from the act of self-care and later on, it becomes permissible for us to live long enough to be able to enjoy ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌life. If we aren’t living to our full potential it is because we are too self focused and not focused enough on others.

When you do have low motivation to get things done, see to it that the work still gets done, even if at the middle of the night.

Do not give up on hard times. You will see what it brings.

I am having a tough time focusing and my energy is low which is why I am calling it a night. I know I should be posting and engaging every day but some days are just better left for rest. I hope that my little effort on this post do not bored you. Tomorrow is another day to do a great job with my post.

Goodnight from Nigeria!
