I think the same as you; fear is overcome by getting back on the bike.

I also crashed into a car, but that was my fault, or rather the mechanic's. I paid for the maintenance, and the mechanic forgot to properly install the brakes. So, going downhill, thinking I had brakes, I ended up hitting a car. Fortunately, it was a very nice lady, and it only left a scratch on her car. If it had been someone else, maybe the story would have been different 😅
