It’s finally raining outside, and quite a lot. And some cats are fighting. A weird combo. The picture Upload is failing again, and I did double the steps that health connect registered. Hopefully a one time but from Garmin. We'll see. Will edit everything in. So I did. Even updated the first pic. Let's see if it works...

After almost a whole week of blazing sun, we’re finally getting some water. Even weather warnings for land slides and all that. Quite normal around here. It feels good to smell the refreshed air, opening up the windows and breathe. There’s no wind, so the rain falls straight down and doesn’t come through the window space. Necessary decompression.

My work out today was rough. Probably because Lily decided to wake up at 5.30am. She was all excited about having “lost” another tooth (she pulled it out after loosening it enough). Unfortunately, her wishes for the tooth fairy always occur to her when we’re already in bed. So, she got a letter from the fairy instead, telling her that all the stuffed animals shops were closed when the fairy came. But when we came home after lunch today, there was a cute little dog on her pillow. His name is Mateo now. She was very happy and did not let go of him.

He even came with us to her equine therapy. She showed him to all the horses. They were not impressed, but that didn’t bother Lily in her happiness. And she did a great job. I’m glad that we have the luxury of a friend running an equine therapy business, as it’s perfect for Lily at her age. She really doesn’t dig conventional therapy, and does work a lot better when animals are around. Including Mateo.

I was somewhat productive today, too, though not to much. There’s still a lot left on my to-do list, probably because I just keep adding stuff to it, too. Hm. That might be the problem. I should start adding stuff I already did, but hadn’t written down, so I could cross it off and therefor trick my mind into thinking that I did a lot. But my mind is usually smarter than that.

A friend invited me over for cocktails at his bar, but since I don't drink alcohol within the week, it was a mocktail - but they did a nice job on decorating. And it was quite good, too.
Anyway. I’ll do my Duolingo now and listen to the rain a little, before falling asleep like a stone. Lily is with her mom, so no nightly wake-ups.
Have a good night!
