Yesterday we went to a brewery with some friends, and they have really strong beer that sneaks up on you. Meaning, it wasn’t that easy to get out of bed this morning. But the fresh breeze coming through the window, carrying the smell of early morning sunshine, helped me in the end.

I went to the gym and got a good workout together. Not as good as usually, but I’m not one for excuses, so I did up some of the weights and concentrated on clean exercises. I didn’t have any coffee before going, nor any breakfast, as I got up a little later as usual. That didn’t help with the motivation, but I got it done.

Today was our team meeting, and it was regular. There’s still a few things that we have to get into position, and Danny being focused on opening his restaurant does put the rest a little into the back. Which I had accounted for, and he himself said that in a week he’ll be back to normal. That should be fine. In the meantime, I’m vigilant on where he’s failing to step in and keep is back free.

I haven’t heard much from Lily. She sent a short note on Saturday, but not more. I miss her. I hope that the legal path will eventually move forward so we can be reunited. But knowing Ecuador, I do not count on that. It’s a game of patience and maintaining calmness. Step by step. I’m doing the right thing, the right way, and that will eventually bear fruits.
So far for today. Wishing you all a good night and thank you for reading!
