Mixed results. My Actifit Diary: June 15 2026

It was an emotionally challenging day, but very productive. I staid up too late yesterday, not wanting to let go of the weekend I guess. And had a weird night. I think I ate too much and too late, and that confused my body so much that I had nightmares and half-sleeps and sudden thirst and whatever one can imagine to interrupt sleep.

Meaning, I got up a little later. I decided not to drink coffee, but rather a lot more water and head to the gym. I did my routine, standard, no extra weight, but good.

Tomorrow is leg day. I don’t like leg day. But I’d look weird if I didn’t train them. Though I always do, in Tang Soo Do – but it’s not the same as heavy weight for that bone density.

I did some gardening work, too. Breaking up the soil a little so the water can penetrate better. I’ll get some rice husks to incorporate them. The soil needs quite a bit of organic matter. Hence the compost, that I talked about a couple of times. It’s doing good, by the way, filling up step by step. I got 4 big bags of cuts from the park, when the municipal workers were cutting the grass and the plants. Soon, I’ll have to top it off with dirt, throw in some worms and wait a couple of months.

Since I was tired, I took short naps all around the day. That helped a lot. I didn’t drink too much coffee, which is another important part for my sleep tonight. It should be fine. So, thank you for reading and have a good night!

Coffee is something I should cut back on as well. But it is one of the few vices I have left and enjoy. Hope you get some better sleep this week.

I enjoy coffee too much to delete it from my life. But reducing it does help.

Slept really well last night. Almost 9h continuously. Not sure if that was the coffee or the good Martial Arts training, though 😅
