In one of my recent posts I shared my experience with changing conditions to increase motivation for walking.
Well - this weekend, guys, I reached next level motivation!
I used to live close to the baltic beach since 15 years but - don’t ask me why - never considered it for running!
So this weekend I just did it. It was amazing! After the 1st of October, when tourist season is over, dogs are allowed free at the entire beach. So I put Ella in the car and off we went. The weather was just as we like it - breezy, not to warm, slightly cloudy. On a normal weekend there are only people with their dogs, so usually friendly towards me and my dog, wich I really appreciate.
We started at our favorite spot and then just walked along the water. Due to the sandy ground it’s a bit more exhausting to walk, so some extra calories to burn by just walking - nice side effect.
After exact three kilometers we turned and walked back. See the pictures about how beautiful this walk really was!
Kilometers walked: 6
Friends on the way: Lots of lovely dogs and their owners
Favourite music: just the sound of seagulls, wind and the ocean ❤️

Favourite time of the year at the beach
Impressive beach-walk, huh?
Yeah - no tourists!!
Yummy - salty sand!
Crystal clear water
