Crawter's Brook is a conservation area contained within a large industrial estate. The name actually comes from the brook that passes through this small park.

I passed through as part of my cycle ride today. There are some new sculptures here reflecting the industry past and present that has been found in the town.

It has been dry all day after a few very wet days recently. So ground conditions were soft in places but not too bad! The ground has soaked up the deluge quite well.

I have not ridden much of this route for a long while, and it was good to revisit these areas. It has given me some new ideas for future rides. There are many tracks leading off from the route to be explored another time.

This old concrete bridge looks ancient and must have been here a long time. It crosses a stream at a tight bend. The track followed the stream for a distance before crossing over.

Bridges and tunnels are good. It keep me off the main roads which I dont like at all! I avoid busy roads as much as I can, but it is of course inevitable that you have to use a road junction at some point.

Myself and the bike got good and muddy today! 🤣. The signs of a miss spent youth! 😁 But after a good shower and a meal I'll be planning the next bike ride. 🤔
