I have a good system that works and gives results and today if I simply follow it without worrying about optimising further, I will be able to get the results I want in my desired timeline. As the systems addresses my learning style, weakness and insecurities.
It makes me disciplined and helps me get shit done even on days I don't feel like it, yes the work might not be as good as I would do when I'm in flow state but still for big projects getting in the hours are crucial.
I just need to follow it ( I tell myself).
My problem today : In the process of building this system, I had built up a lot of habits, behaviours, impulses and tendencies.
Now, those same behaviors and tendencies are the reasons for my self sabotage and my consistency in actually executing it.
What my brain would always fixate upon : How I can improve stuff, micro think on stupid little unnecessary details that aren't going to add any significant improvement on grandscope of the project and slowing everything down significantly.
