I don't think tomatoes are hurt by a heatwave very quick, same here indeed, so many tomatoes!

I'm making soup and pasta sauce with them, when I really have too much, I can make sauce in advance and put it in the fridge

        Hopefully you are right, though I do have a couple tomato fruits already burned by sun while green...
