I was telling several people on our Blockchain, that Liz and Silvertop were headed to the Ocean shore today………
With the days getting shorter, planning the time for our hike, and the return home before dark, becomes very important !😇
“Silvertop, I don’t think we have time to drive to Boulevard Park, and hike very far it gets dark at 4:39 PM today!😍
“If we hike the Lynden City Park, we can head over to Starbucks afterwards!”🥰
So just like that the two of us became “City Hikers” Lol!😇
At the beginning of our hike it was beautiful Sunshine, with a stiff cold wind blowing down from Canada!🥶
We passed one couple that definitely looked very cold! As they approached the lady spoke up…….
“It certainly is colder than it looks today!”😮
It certainly is!🥶
The trail continued into the tall trees….
In the Summer, this is a welcome section of hiking trail!
“Cool, and green, and shady”!😊
Today we braced ourselves for the loss of Sun on this cold day!🙄
“Silvertop, did you notice the wind stopped!”🥰
Clouds were moving fast across the sky!
The wind, and the Sun both were gone!🙄
“Silvertop, I’m cold, are you ready to go to Starbucks?”🥰
“Absolutely Liz!” 🤗👍
Sometimes you need to touch grass, and other times you just need a hot steaming latte Lol!😇
