Take note that by efficiently curating here on Hive using your Hive Power, you can earn anywhere from 3% to 13% in additional HP per year. 🤓 That requires that you indeed curate well though, which would take time which you are already heavily struggling with. 🤔🤯😅 !LUV !HUG !DIY

Essentially, there are two styles of curating - one is simply trying to maximize the curation rewards, and the other is supporting favorite Hive authors despite the rewards being "more average". 🤔🤓 A curator can balance both styles of curating (such as half for the rewards and half for the support for favorite authors). 🧘♂️😏 !LOLZ !DIY
Getting higher curation rewards is more of predicting which posts (or sometimes comments) with relatively low curation will get more curators after 24 hours from the time the content was published (but not more than 7 days). 🤯🤓 !LOLZ !DIY

So if a post gets a higher percentage (or number or value?) of curations after 24h than in the first 24h? The curator (who curates in the first 24h I guess?) gets a bigger share?
Does that mean as well that the writer gets a bigger share if his posts get more curated within the first 24h and less in the 6 following days?
It's startings to get complicated...

A curator voting on a post (or comment) within 24 hours from time of publishing will get at 100% of what they would get if they were the only voter on the content (whose vote is above the dust threshold) until payout time. 🤔🤯 If the curator votes on content that is older than 24 hours but younger than 7 days and there are other voters before them, then they would get less than 100% curation rewards compared to voting alone on the post. 🤯😅 !LUV !HUG !DIY

We can also say that two different ways to curate are manual curation and automatic curation (and a combination of the two). 🤓 !PIZZA !INDEED !DIY
Manual curation to maximize curation rewards (instead of curating favorite authors regardless of curation reward) requires diligence to determine which posts (or much less often, comments) would get relatively (much) greater votes after 24 hours and before payout time at the end of the 7th day. 🤯 !INDEED !WEIRD
On the other hand, automatic curation in the hands of experienced users with curation trails that are able to maximize curation rewards (up to 13% APR) is better suited for Hive users who don't have or don't want to spend time for curation. 🤓 !HOPE !DIY
It's more of the right curation trail which would be beneficial to maximize curation rewards, even if that means your Hive account's Voting Power would likely not be used to curate your favorite Hive authors. 🤯
I think that what you mean with "own automatic curation" is being a "fanbase" on #HiveVote where you simply curate your selected (favorite) Hive authors (within a few minutes after any of them publishes a post) regardless of your curation rewards (which aren't low anyway especially if you curate within the first 24 hours of a post). 🤓😅
