I think it's a hassle if we'd arrive there tired already and my small son wouldn't be able to do the climbs I guess !STRIDE !wine !BBH

Sort:

I was thinking that you would use a car or some sort of public transportation going to and coming from the mountains (which you love) !INDEED. 🤯😅 !LOLZ

Exactly, but I understod that you stated we should run or walk till there?...
For private excursions (already really a long time ago) we would take the car. At these "competitions", which I'm writing about there's an organized bus service at less than 10 minutes driving from my doorstep. It's better to do like this because parking is very scarse at these places and a lot of people is there at the same time...

I meant on my older comment that you and your son ride a vehicle to the foot of the mountain, then climb up from there. 🤯🤓

Thanks for the information about how you get ready for such running competitions! 🤗

!INDEED by car the mountains are reaelly close here, and even @cycling it isn't that far. In summer I use to cycle up there. !HOPE !wine

Cycling all the way from your home to the top of the mountain and then back might also !INDEED be a good option. 🧘‍♂️🤓 !HOPE !WEIRD !PIZZA

In summer I'm doing this. There are 3 quite good reachable mountain tops close to me: Coll de Sa Creu, Coll d'Honor and Coll de Soller ;-) !STRIDE !BBH !wine

I wonder if you visit all of those mountain tops (by cycling) every summer, or just try to visit one every summer !INDEED. 😅 !HOPE !WEIRD !PIZZA

I try to do at least these 3 every summer. Last summer I didn't do the Coll de Soller, but I went with a friend to Alaro, where is another steep and long climb. Before it was difficult to do it with a road bike because of the bad roads, but now they put a new asfalted road and like this it's perfect (When one is well trained !LOL ) !wine
