Some learn easiest by seeing something done, while for others it's hearing it described, and some people actually have to just do it to learn it. I'm like that too...lol! Same here, I learn through a combination of things, but hands-on is absolutely the most effective one for me! And I love learning that way as well :-) It also makes that you are always very easily applicable in different situations, because you easily adapt...
