My dad's parents lived in New Haven, Connecticut, near the ocean, and every summer I'd spend a good bit of time there, with trips to the beach a near daily routine. I spent many, many hours exploring tide pools and exposed rocks at low tide. There were so many cool critters! I'm glad to hear that you had a lovely sunny day at the ocean with Liz, my friend! πππβ¨π€
I have learned to be cautious about walking barefoot in tide pools!π
It's always a wonderful time at the ocean!!!ππ
If you walk barefoot on or near pools, let's !HOPE that you won't lose your footwear somewhere out there !INDEED! π€

Even if someone has footwear !INDEED, there is still the chance that some "tidepool resident" would hit the legs instead! π€―π

Wearing pants (for protection) while swimming is inconvenient !INDEED though! π©³π€―π

Wearing pants (and shirts) while diving is a different thing though, as it is required for deep swimming !INDEED. π€π€

Indeed, my friend, and while that is something to keep in mind here in Hawai'i, back in Connecticut there weren't any problematic pool denizens! πππβ¨π€
Thatβs very interesting!ππ
I first discovered tide pools walking the beaches in Oregonβ¦..
I quickly put my shoes back on!π¬π³π
I imagine due to sea urchins! We didn't have any of those in the North East! πππβ¨π€
Yep, they sure do, and at hiding, they are very good indeed! πππβ¨π€
