My Actifit Report Card: March 27 2026

in Actifitlast month

Another hot day but at least yesterday's smokey haze had decreased especially higher in the hills where I was hiking.

We spent a couple of hours in Sedona so it was around noon when I was ready to exercise and I decided it was better to go for a hike instead of a run.
First of all it was already quite hot and I wasn't in the mood for my usual loop run. Second I just felt like a hike on the hilly trails would just be more enjoyable.
No one else was out but the low clumps of wildflowers and quite a few butterflies really brightened the landscape.

A 5 mile hike was a very good effort although it will be better when I'm back to running these trails ( we'll be back in October most likely).
Lulu isn't thrilled with the heat and she prefers laying in the shade under the rv until it's time for our late afternoon walk along the Verde River.

Lovely to see Lulu cooling down in the river. I can only imagine how warm it must be there. It is starting to get hotter here as well. No fun to stay outdoors though. At least you have such a lovely walking trail. Love the wildflowers along the trail. Do have a wonderful weekend!
