Certainly, his disappearance was and remains a mystery. What I admire about him, in addition to his music, (and without taking ideologies into account), is his conviction in joining the army of his country, and his dedication to it. He was doing very well with his civilian band, he earned a lot of money, and yet he left it behind, enlisted in the army (after several attempts), to later form this wonderful band.
