Sussie was coming back from her job hunt one afternoon when she stumbled on a newspaper advert placed at the corner of a busy alley. She had passed there many times without taking notice of the job advert. At first, she thought it was an old job advertisement but her instincts told her to go close and have a proper look.
She then went closer and scanned through the advertisement. She saw a few positions advertised as available and she picked an interest in one of them - front desk officer. The qualification is well within her reach but the pay was not too attractive. The offer was still open as the deadline was fews days away to elapse. She snapped the advert and went home.
At home, she went through the advert again and decided to try her luck despite the low pay on offer. The next morning she dressed up and went to the company that placed the advertisement. She was well received by a certain support staff who then ushered her to the head of admin office where she submitted her application and then left.
The next day she got an email scheduling her for a job interview by noon. Sussie made sure she got there thirty minutes before the time. The head of admin asked her a few questions which she responded positively and the job was offered to her.
She was however given a palmflet to go through before she can accept the job offer. The clauses were written in tiny prints. Sussie had to strain her eyes to go through it all. There was not much ambiguity in the clauses except one which she pointed out to the head of admin. Sussie was clarified on that. There was also an offer for improved pay should the staff perform creditably within the first three months on the job. Sussie understood all before she then signed the dotted lines.
Sussie was thereafter given a fortnight to prepare for the job before she can resume properly. That day, she went home feeling much elated.
This is my entry for the day's @daily.prompt: Not Much Ambiguity
