Five Minute Freewrite: Paralyzed

Glasner as a coach has been doing a great job with his team - a newly promoted team from the lower division. Many had thought that he will struggle because his team had sold off quite a number of good players who ensured they got promoted to on the elite division.

But that was not to be as he keeps grinding out positive results from every available match. This has drawn great admiration from fans across many other clubs.

A litmus rest was their match against the reigning champions - LAX CF. Those guys have been demolishing anything that comes their way and this newly promoted team won't be an exception. LAX CF was also playing at home. That's a good place to make a statement win.

However, after thirty minutes into the game the reigning champions could not even register a shot on target. However Glasner's team had struck three times, scored a goal which was even controversially ruled out and dominated the game so far.

Half time came and the game was still goalless. Upon the restart Glasner made two changes and the screw was turned on the reigning champions. Shots upon shots were reigned on them and two goals were scored within a space of ten minutes of the restart. The entire stadium was literarily paralyzed.

That was the case for the greater part of the second half. The home fans could barely be heard as everywhere remained silent. They kept hoping for a response form their team which unfortunately could not come.

Glasner pulled out a masterstroke by bringing out a 16yr old who scored the third goal within three minutes of entering the game.

And so it ended (3-0) against the reigning champions on their home ground. Fears began to spread among other teams yet to play Glasner. A new king is about to be born, they say.
