Today will undoubtedly memorable chapter in my gaming journey. As a result of a long period of small efforts, patience and planning, today I was able to successfully level up my favorite card NIM Guard Captain (Rodentian) to level 2. While this may sound like a small progress, those who play Splinterlands or similar card-based strategy games know very well how valuable each level of a card is.

Why is this card special to me? Because NIM Guard Captain is not just a simple common card, it is a powerful unit of Death Splinter. Its balance of attack, defense and speed makes it a reliable fighter in many matches. Especially in low to mid mana matches, this card is capable of turning the tide of the match many times. So from the beginning, my goal was to gradually improve it.

The warning that comes when combining cards—“This cannot be undone”—this line makes me think anew every time. Because making the wrong decision can waste unnecessary cards. As you can see in the picture, when upgrading to level 2, I used one card more than necessary. On the one hand, it is a bit risky, but on the other hand, it can also be said to be a mental preparation for moving towards level 3 and max level in the future.

It is really nice to look at the card stats after reaching level 2. The defense has increased compared to before, the attack has become more stable, and the card is now more effective overall. When this card is put on the field in the game, a different confidence works. It seems that this unit can now take more responsibility than before.

This achievement did not come in a day. Behind it are regular games, small daily wins and losses, and trying to understand the game mechanics. Many times I have lost matches, many times it felt like nothing would progress today. But each match has taught me something or the other—when to use which card, which combination is most effective, and when it is wise to wait patiently.

There is also a lot to say separately about the design of NIM Guard Captain. Its visual art, its clothing, its sword in hand—it all feels like a character, not just a card. When I see the card after leveling up, it feels like one of my own warriors has become stronger. This feeling is what makes gaming more enjoyable.

My future plans are clearer now. My goal is to gradually take this card to max level. I know that this will require more cards, more time, and maybe some difficult decisions. But todays small success is motivating me continue on that path.

Once this card reaches max level it will not only be stronger in terms stats, but also become a mainstay my deck. I believe that it can play an important role in everything, be it ranked matches special events.

From this whole experience, I realized one thing again—gaming is not just about winning quickly, but also about improving step by step. Every small level up, every card combination, every decision lays the foundation for future big successes. Today NIM Guard Captain reached level 2 tomorrow maybe level 3 one day definitely max level.

I would like say that today achievement has given me renewed encouragement. The road ahead is long but goal is clear. With small efforts, regular play, and proper planning, I am sure that I will one day be able reach this cards maximum power. Today is not just a level up, but a solid foundation for big dreams in future.
