Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about my Chinese New Year Event. First, Gong Xi Gong Xi for you guys that celebrate this event. Actually this year, i got surprised from my parents. No plan no stories but they are just did and shook me for the day.
So, the story begin when 4 days before that my son need to be consult at the doctor in my hometown to make additional diagnose for his medical condition. The result is kinda relieve me. The doctor said that my son dont need to be surgery fast. Need to be on medication at least 1 month first and then need to be x-ray again and see how big his adenoid. If the adenoid smaller and it giving result, it need to continue the medication and will temporally depends on the medication until he reached age 11.
Then the plan is my son will be back to my house at Wednesday since my son already back at school when Thursday. But, the plan changed. Yeah my mom always do that anyway, She often changes the plan suddenly and sometimes whenever she want it, it need to be done fast. Like this Chinese New Year Event. There is no plan that we need gathering at all. And we are already told that not to gathered this year. But, she changed the plan and comes to delivering my son while bringing my little brothers and my nephew. And that day (yesterday) i woke up very late and this is the second day i can barely sleep very well for the past year. Yes, this is the second day i can sleep very well. Without need to be stay alert while sleep. Without worrying to work. And thats why i cannot hear any call from my mom. And my wife also did not wake me up even though she wake up early. Maybe she know that this is the first time i wake up after she wakes up. Usually i will sleep late and wake up early than her. Most likely since she already tired and sleep early with my son.
So, lets skip the day until dinner time since we are just spending the day strolling at mall. Maybe tomorrow i will made the content about the strolling and windows shopping to refresh my eyes looking the toys and visiting the new toys shop tenant.
My brother suggesting to eat at Cowek mini restaurant (non halal - full of pork and lard) that quite delicious for his taste. This restaurant kinda fancy and not too big. Can dining in and accommodate around 30 people inside only.
Of course since this is Chinese New Year, lets all order pork to celebrate. Tomorrow will be eating healthy food again. Time to inflamate with high Sodium and High sugar in those night.
But, at least i am not forget to adding vegetables inside my dish. Not only just pork with rice. I dont want to get spike on my sugar blood. Even though i am pretty sure it will crash for my sugar blood since this is the first time i injected my body with contain so much carbs and sugary (this pork is sweet anyway).
Usually we are gathering in my parents house every year. But, this year the holiday is not good at all. Just short holiday and pinched in hectic and busy week. Thats why my brother cannot going home and stay in a long time. I also cannot afford to live in my hometown since i need to go work (still) to collect money and for mortage payment. Thats why yeah this year everyone agree that dont need to gathering. But, turns out that destiny changed all. We still gathering and happy to see my parents and my parents also happy can see their grandsons playing together. And we are happy too can sharing so much after not meet up so long. Actually we still often meet up but never in a long time. Never talking together all day long with chill. We are often talking in rush and hectic since we need back to work.
Overall we are happy for this New Year (based on Chinese Calender) believe it or not, just hoping that we got prosperity and healthiness for this year. I hope my parents still well too this year. And still healthy to live a long life.
