Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about my son celebrate the Hero's Day in his school.
Every year each 10th November in my country always celebrating Hero Days. So, we are commemorate the services of heroes and we need to act like them so we can become them. Actually not all heroes wearing capes, sometimes they are all around us like teacher,doctor,even our parents.
So, actually my son still having like usual day in school still having lesson, but after school they are celebrating by holding colouring contest
I really dont know who win the competition since my son never told me, but i dont think that my son win this competition since look at his colour just bland like that.
After done doing this competition, they are doing ceremony in hall first then they are taking a picture together.
After he goes home, i am asking my son what happened with him at school. He telling me that he understand that not all heroes wearing cape. Even teacher are heroes too and he told me that his mother also the heroes too since his mother is a teacher too. And he also proud using army clothes at that day. He like a soldier at school that can make his country proud of him. But, i think he is having problem with communication with other. My son is the only child that i know he is really alone and cannot communicate well especially in terms of giving in. Not many opportunity that he need to giving something to people. Almost all we are as his parents that always giving him something. Even though we are teaching him about giving. But, in reality when all alone it really hard to teach him since he does not have any role model to giving something ( like brother or even friends ).
Thats why i love occasional day like this, so i can inserting suggestion to my son that he will remember since he is having fun with this day. I always telling him that he need to have control in his arrogance and self confidence. It is kinda hard to telling him the boundaries about Self Esteem and Arrogance. Sometimes, he is doing arrogance but sometimes also he is does not have self confidence. Like when his teacher told me that he is cried over because his name is write in the last when in group. I even asked him why he does not like that. He told me that he dont know the answer but his heart said that he does not want to be the last. I never experienced things like this when i was a kid since i have 3 little brothers and my nature always back down to all my brother. I am getting used to split what i have to all my little brother and never bothered if my things got used by my brother. And it has become a habit in my life. So, i dont know how to teach my son about this. Overall, in this Hero's day at least he knows that his parents are hero too.
