It's 5 am when she wakes up and crawls into my bed, carrrying Shio, my stuffed animal that she just occupied because, and the book. "Guten Morgen! Zeit zum Vorlesen!" Yeah, not going to happen. But I do enjoy her snuggling up to me, listen to her breath slowly becoming more and more regular, until I, too, fall asleep for a little longer. And she does get her read, of course, the second time we wake up.
I hit it hard in the gym today. My legs will hurt for days. But I'm happy with that performance, and that I didn't let that weird cough get to me. It's kind of under control, just a little here and there. And I'm taking my naps and meditation time and all that's necessary for it to subside completely, soon.
After school and lunch and some homework, Lily and I went to therapy. She to equine therapy, I to "normal" therapy. The equine therapy is in my opinion the best for her at the moment. It's a more fluid approach, no traditional "straight forward". She knows that from her school, and does well with it. And she loves horses, a lot more than she loves offices in Ibarra.
On the way back, she suddenly shouted out - "Look, papa, a rainbow! A really big rainbow!" Indeed, there it was. And since we were still on a country road with no traffic, I stopped on the wrong side of the "street" and took a picture. She's always looking for motives now, too. We always review them afterwards and I try to make her see what could be better. Or not, if there's nothing.
So far today. Another one far beyond the 10k. That's good. Though my legs hate me. A lot. Have a good night!
