Today I wrote quite a bit. And read quite a bit. Reason was something going on in Splinterlands that I was interested in, as a stakeholder. In short, it seems like the developers had been negligent with code, leaving a big security worth $4.5 million open. A white hat hacker found it, reported it, and it was patched right away. Now the DAO will pay the white hatter (with good reason), but I ask myself if the coder will be held responsible for not doing their job right like they’re paid handsomely to do. Probably not. Which lead me to thinking about my own policy on negligent employees doing damage to the company. Feel free to read and comment!

I started the day with a good work out at the gym. I’m building a routine on the walker now, trying to improve my way of walking, too. And as a side benefit, it helps a lot to improve my step count. The rest was back and shoulder training, and it seems like the Tang Soo Do training is beneficial to that part as I did not feel any hardening or similar, which usually comes up that day (which is why I train that part on Fridays).

I also went to the courthouse to gently push them to not forget about my case. No news from Lily yet, but I reminded her today that Sunday is my mom’s birthday. I hope she’ll be allowed to send a message for that. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if she won’t be.

I didn’t really do much the rest of the day. Time just trickled by. But that’s okay, I’ve been very productive this week and am quite happy with that. Still going to go to the jamsession today. It seems like quite a few musicians will be coming, which is great as we will be at a venue that has a stage.
So, an early good night – though I won’t publish before I’m back home. Gotta count all the steps… ;-)
