I work with a man that has disabilities I try to make his life a little better by doing activities and what not, anyway one of those recent activities was going to Casa Loma, for the most part I thought it was a rip off and not my cup of tea but still neat to see at least once, and a cool thing I stumbled on was a death penny.
See back in the day fallen soldier would get this giant coin with their loved ones name engraved.
Sort of neat but also feel like I would not give a shit about that and just be pissed my loved one died.
Anyway So while I was there I saw a real one and thought was cool, I was curious and looked into getting one on my own but that is a tricky propositions can end up getting a fake and also it is not precious and has a fairly high premium also sort of feels strange since they are so personal each one should have a name of the fallen soldier and was given to family so finding a real one for sale seems like taking the slap to sacrifice.
Mine is blank but I suppose I could engrave is 🤣
