Yes !INDEED, 100km IS a lot :-) I trained about 9 months for it, but never exceeded 40km either, but could do that "easily" :-) They told me that it is actually useless to train for more than 50km, since when you reach that distance (on average, for me it was at 60km), you meet the man with the hammer anyway, and everything has hurt at least once by that time. That's the point where you just have to bite the pain and everything away, and just go on!
