Every once in a while, you come across vintage rounds at the local coin store. I hit the jackpot a while back and found this vintage round. They're not very common, and online, they go for a pretty penny.
Obverse
The front has a picturesque mountain scenery and the words "Swiss of America" on it.
Reverse
The back is extremely plain and is nothing to write home about.
These were made in Utah in the 1980s. Like many rounds, many were melted down for scrap, and there are very few left. (Source)
Finding one at my local coin store was very cool! This piece was originally going to be put in the fondle stash, but I think this one will end up in an airtite to be preserved. It only cost me $1 over spot, and these typically sell for $40+ online, so this was a great find! If you can find one at a good price, don't hesitate to snag it!
