With the collapse of BRO, LGN, CINE and GIFU, it's hard not to wallow in self pity. Where did we go wrong? How could we not have seen this coming? We put our trust in one man. Men can fail. Men can die. An idea, spurred on by a group of people, can live on over multiple generations.

So where do we go from here? We have a great community to build from. We start by talking and sharing. I think the rest will come on its own with time.

Where did we go wrong?

I think seeing red flags and accepting it is always the good to go...sometimes we want to believe more in an idea and ignoring the reality... and after the shit is done we look back and see what we ignored... I went through that so many thousands of time. Now I don't ignore the red flags...I try to exit something when I start seeing them.

I think you're exactly right. I think in my case it was also a lack of due diligence, but then you never think to research if the owner of a token or company is mentally stable. I assumed and have him the benefit of the doubt to my own detriment.

Perhaps the best approach is for projects to have more than one person leading them. That way, things like this BRO incident won't happen. Having faith in men can be complicated.
