Tired of Garbage Products

I know I'm not the only one who sees products they bought in the past that were reliable, amd suddenly they become untrustworthy garbage. It boggles my mind which brands it happens to when quality goes so far downhill.

These Sylvania light bulbs are a perfect example. I never used to have issues with this brand at all. These bulbs went out on me back in January of last year. Prior to that, they went out about the same time in 2023. Complete garbage.

I ended up paying about the same $40 for these LED bulbs I found on Amazon. They're brighter and holding up well.

It seems like things have become topsy turvy in some ways. The "reliable" brands are terrible, and the unknown brands work better for the same price. So be it. Sometimes new is better.

I put some cheap Amazon led bulbs in my tacoma a few years back, after going through bulbs every 6 months from sylvania. the cheap ones are going strong 4 years now I think.

I had the same experience with Sylvania bulbs recently. The last one I replaced lasted a year or so but it used to be that you could count on them for 5 years or sometimes a lot more.

I'm glad it's not just me. Sometimes you start to think you're the only one who has bad luck with them. It's sad when reliable brands cheap out.

I've been looking for some LED alternatives to some of my lights for my truck. I will have to check out that brand. It's definitely sad that quality of a lot of things has gone downhill. It is happening across the board!
