Agreements - What are your thoughts on prenuptial agreements? Do you think it would be beneficial for all couples to sign a prenuptial agreement where both parties clearly outline their wishes, boundaries, and conditions regarding the relationship? Would you sign a prenuptial agreement? Why?

Hello #qc-community family, how are you doing today? It is the weekend, and I am excited because it is time to relax, unwind, and prepare the goals for the new week while reflecting on the past days. I welcome you to my blog.
One may ask, what is an agreement? Then what are prenuptial agreements? Agreements are mainly written documents that serve as a guide for an action signed by two people with a mutual understanding.

For example, an employer advertises a job, a candidate applies, and becomes successful after assessment. The employer provides an employment offer, which the candidate accepts and signs within a stipulated time. The employee and employer have a copy of the offer as proof of an agreement. Which bears the terms and conditions of the partnership
Furthermore, a prenuptial agreement establishes a mutual understanding of the partnership or marital terms and conditions, regarding sharing property, wealth, and indebtedness. The agreement will state the dos and don’ts of the marriage, the roles and responsibilities of each party. In summary, a guide into marriage when it is functional and a guide out of it when it turns sour or dysfunctional.
I do not think such agreements are necessary where love and charity are the foundation of the marriage. It will put the couple under pressure. They would be caged instead of living in freedom because they are bound by this law. There will be frustration and competition between the two parties. The parties may be playing hide-and-seek games because of the agreement terms. Recently I learnt that some males in the western world would continue to use their mothers' accounts as their sole accounts to avoid willing their properties and other belongings to their partners if the issue of divorce happens,

On the other hand, if, after marriage, a partner is found to be a serial defaulter of common obligations in the union, I can only recommend an agreement as a means of cautioning the defaulting partner. Outside of that, I do not think I would recommend it as a condition before marriage. Partners should learn to be independent and cohabit respectfully rather than relying on such agreements. Each party making their partner their next of kin should replace such agreements in marriage.
Finally, I would not enter into a prenuptial agreement for the reasons I mentioned in the second-to-last paragraph of my write-up. It will bring unnecessary stress and pitch me against my partner instead of leaving a free and fun-filled life. Living in bondage will be the description of the union.
