Hi
This year my Christmas has been one of the best I can remember, full of good moments like the day I found myself walking through the village of Puerto de Vega with these little elves under the shelter of some mushrooms.

My entry to Qurator Photo Quest: Christmas
In this village I discovered that there are different ways of building a Christmas tree, in this case built with pots and perfectly decorated for the occasion.

With a clear allusion to the life of this fishing port with a boat at its side in which there were some structures emulating the main figures of the Bethlehem portal.

But if I have to talk about an original Bethlehem portal, I want to show you this peculiar Bethlehem built at the base of a tree on the outskirts of Gijón, where they have taken advantage of the natural hollow of the tree to emulate a cave where the Baby Jesus was supposedly born.

Christmas itself is the date we commemorate the birth of Jesus, but other characters without a religious connection, such as Father Christmas, allow those who do not believe in Christmas to enjoy it.

In Granada I really enjoyed a Christmas theme park with a multitude of attractions and with a props where polar bears and snowmen abounded.

And of course, the multicoloured Christmas trees that always attract our gaze and make us feel like children again.

I wish you a good start to 2025.
