We will make a 14-centimeter woven chain with crystals on each side of the pendant.
To do this, we will simply make a rosary knot with each of our crystals and join them together to form a chain.

We will work directly from the wire roll. We will insert the entire sequence of stones and beads with the pellets so that we don't forget any.

Haremos 14 centímetros de cadena tejida con cristales de cada lado del colgante.
Para esto simplemente haremos con cda una de nuestros cristales un nudo rosario y uniremos formando una cadena.

Vamos a trabajar directamente del rollo de alambre. Insertamos toda la secuencia de las piedras y las acerinas con los balines para no olvidar ninguno.

Take the 6-in-1 pliers and, on stocking #1, make a ring, leaving half a centimeter at the end of the wire to wrap around the base wire three times. Cut off the excess and trim with the flat pliers. You should be left with a ring that looks like this:

Tomamos la pinza 6 en 1 y en la media #1 vamos a hacer un aro dejando medio centímetro en la punta del alambre para darle 3 vueltas alrededor del alambre de base. Cortamos el excedente y emparejamos con la pinza plana. Debe quedar un aro de la siguiente manera:

Slide the first bead onto the ring. Bend the wire slightly to one side.

Deslizamos hasta el aro el primer balín. Vamos a doblar ligeramente el alambre hacia un lado.

Repeat the loop on the other side of the pellet, making three turns around the base wire, and cut. This will give you your first link.

Repetimos el aro del otro lado del balín dando las 3 vueltas de en el alambre de base y cortamos. Así tendremos nuestro primer eslabón.

The next step is very important. We must insert the first link into the wire and then make the ring. Leave the first link inside the new ring.

Slide the next bead onto the wire and make the next ring to finish the second link.

El siguiente paso es muy importante. Debemos introducir el primer eslabón en el alambre para luego hacer el aro. Dejando el primer eslabón dentro del aro nuevo.

Deslizamos el siguiente cristal y hacemos el siguiente aro para terminar el segundo eslabón.

We follow this same sequence with each of the stones, remembering to insert the previous link into the first ring of the next series.

Seguimos esta misma secuencia con cada una de las piedras recordando introducir el eslabón anterior en el primer aro de la siguiente serie.

We need to make 14 centimeters of chain. I started with a bead, then two crystals, which I chose in shiny black this time. Then a heart-shaped acerina.

I really enjoyed working with this material. The beads are a little heavy, which gives the pendant consistency when worn. This material is also inexpensive and comes in the shape of stars, cubes, circles, and hearts in different sizes and colors.

Debemos completar 14 centímetros de cadena. Yo comencé con un balín, luego 2 cristales, que en esta oportunidad los escogí de color negro brillante. Luego una acerina en forma de corazón.

Me gustó mucho trabajar con este material, las acerinas son un poco pesadas por lo que le dan consistencia al colgante al momento de usarlo. También es económico este material y se consigue en forma de estrellas, cubos, circulos y corazones en diferentes tamaños y colores.

Once we have the two sections of chain ready, we will make our rings with the 6-in-1 pliers in size #2. We need four rings. We will place one at each end of both sections of links.

Next to the beads, we will place the silicone eyeglass clips. I chose transparent ones to make this design look more elegant.

At the other end of the chain links, we will place 35 centimeters of chain. I bought this chain by the meter. It is rhodium-plated, and I recommend it because it is very good quality. It is also available in other designs, but for this project, I chose micro links to make it comfortable to wear.

Luego de tenemos los 2 tramos de cadena listos, vamos a hacer nuestras argollas con la pinza 6 en 1 en la medida #2. Necesitamos 4 argollas. Colocamos una en cada extremo de ambos tramos de eslabones.

Junto a los balines vamos a colocar los broches de silicona porta lentes. Los escogí transparentes para que se viera más elegante con este diseño.

Del otro extremo de la cadena de eslabones vamos a colocar 35 centímetros de cadena. Esta cadena yo la conseguí por metros, es de rodio y la recomiendo porque es de muy buena calidad. También se consigue en otros diseños pero para este proyecto escogí micro eslabones para que sea comodo de usar.

With that, our glasses chain is ready.

Con esto quedaría listo nuestro colgante para lentes.

I really enjoyed working on this piece. To be honest, it gives me great satisfaction to see how a project as useful as this one can take shape out of nothing.
