Wire-woven heart bracelet | Tutorial [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, fellow craft lovers! Welcome back to my @bricolajedc workshop. This time, we're going to make a wire heart bracelet step by step. Join me and I'll show you how it's done.

¡Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi Taller @bricolajedc. En esta oportunidad vamos a realizar paso a paso, un brazalete de corazón entramado en alambre .Acompáñenme y les muestro el proceso de elaboración.

Materials:

#18 gauge hypoallergenic jewelry wire
#30 gauge hypoallergenic jewelry wire
#4 Murano crystals
6 gold #4 beads
Rhodium flat clasp
1-millimeter Chinese thread

We will also use a lighter, jewelry pliers, and paper tape.

Process:

Take the #18 wire and the 6-in-1 pliers or mandrel pliers. Using the #5 gauge, make a half ring.

Proceso de elaboración:

Tomamos el alambre #18 y la pinza 6 en 1 o pinza mandril. Con la medida #5 vamos a realizar medio aro.

Using the flat-nose pliers, make a break 1 centimeter from where the half ring ends. Lift the wire.

Con la pinza plana punta fina vamos a hacer un quiebre a 1 centímetro donde termina el medio aro. Subimos el alambre.

We take the mandrel pliers and again at measurement #6 we will make a half ring in the opposite direction to find the tip of the wire.

Using the flat part of the cutting pliers, we are going to cut the wire. We now have our heart-shaped base.

Tomamos la pinza mandril y nuevamente en la medid #6 haremos un medio aro en sentido contrario para encontrar a punta del alambre.

Con la pinza de corte en su parte plana vamos a cortar en alambre. Ya tenemos nuestra base en forma de corazón.

Using the #1 mandrel clamp, take each end of the wire and bend it inward to form a half circle.

Using the #30 wire, join both ends of the structure to make it stronger. Three turns will be enough.

Continue winding the wire around the entire base wire.

Con la pinza mandril en la medida #1 vamos a tomar cada un ade las puntas del alambre y vamos a hacer un medio aro hacia adentro.

Con el alambre #30 vamos a unir ambos extremos de la estructura para darle resistencia. Con 3 vueltas será suficiente.

Seguimos enrollando el alambre por todo el alambre de base.

Once we have the base ready, we will proceed to make the frame. We insert the glass pieces into the #30 wire roll and attach them to one side of the base.

Una vez que tenemos toda la base lista, vamos a proceder a hacer el entramado. Introducimos los cristales en el rollo de alambre #30 y fijamos en uno de los laterales de la base.

We begin to roll and place the crystals as we like, trying to cover the entire piece.

Eight crystals will be enough to cover the entire heart piece.

The weaving should be done using the turns we made around the base as a grip.

Comenzamos a enrrollar y ubicamos los cristales a nuestro gusto tratando de cubrir toda la pieza.

Con 8 cristales serán suficientes para poder cubrir toda la pieza de corazón.

El tramado se debe hacer utilizando como agarre las vueltas que dimos por toda la base.

Now that our woven heart is ready, we can proceed to assemble the bracelet. To do this, we need two small rings, which we will make with #18 gauge wire and the 6-in-1 pliers at setting 1.

We will take 30 centimeters of 1-millimeter Chinese thread, which we will pass through the ring with a lark's head knot and attach it to each end of the heart.

Ya con nuestro corazón entramado listo, vamos a proceder a armar la pulsera. Para eso necesitamos 2 pequeñas argollas que haremos con alambre calibre #18 y la pinza 6 en 1 en la medida 1.

Colocamos 30 centímetros de hilo chino de 1 milímetro que pasaremos con un nudo Alondra por la argolla y la fijaremos en cada uno de los extremos del corazón.

Insert two beads onto each of the threads, passing both strands of thread through. To do this, you can burn the ends of the thread and refine them with your fingers.

Secure with paper tape on a flat surface.

Using an 80-centimeter length of Chinese thread, we begin to weave with flat knots. We make 10 flat knots and leave the middle bead to make 10 more flat knots.

Insertamos 2 balines en cada uno de los hilos pasando ambas hebras de hilo. Para eso podemos ayudarnos quemando las puntos del hilo y afinando con los dedos.

Fijamos con cinta adhesiva de papel en una superficie plana.

Con un tramo de hilo chino de 80 centímetros comenzamos a tejer con nudos planos. Ha emos 10 nudos planos y dejamos el balin intermedio para hacer 10 nudos planos más.

Once we have finished weaving at both ends, we insert the flat clasp and a bead into each of the threads.

Una vez que terminamos de hacer el tejido en ambos extremos, introducimos el cierre plano y un balín en cada uno de los hilos.

And this is how our finished project would look. We can also add a Pandora-style cord or a chain. We can also make this heart for earrings or a necklace. It is really very easy to make and we can make it in any color we like.

Y así es como quedaría nuestro proyecto terminado. También podemos agregar un cordón tipo Pandora o una cadena. Este corazón también podemos hacerlo para unos aretes o para un collar. Realmente es muy sencillo de elaborar y podemos realizarlo en cualquier color de nuestra preferencia.

It is a very beautiful and delicate piece that can be combined with both casual and elegant outfits.
