Our faith in God is sustained by the word of God. We are strengthened in our spirit to serve God by the Word of God. The word of God is the basic ingredient which makes our faith in God to stand. The more we understand the Word of God, the stronger in faith that we will be. In the same vein, anyone who wants to stand upon God must study the Bible. The Bible is the one thing that builds our faith. Reading the Bible always and meditating on it gives life to our faith.
The Lord God commanded the children of Israel to teach their children those things which he has commanded them. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded us something similar to that when He told us to go into all the world and teach all men, making them His disciples. He instructed us to teach them all that He has commanded us. So, passing on our faith is a commandment of God. Teaching others what we have learnt from God is a divine instruction. We have that assignment to carry out. We should teach our children the ways of God. Our friends and our colleagues must know about God.
What are we doing to teach our children? It is the Word of God. We are to teach them the commandments of God in the Bible. We should show them those things that are pleasing to God. We must explain the Bible to our children. We should teach them how to read the Bible
